Participant of the Biennale 2014: Alexander Menus created mobile navigation project for the Gatchina Palace and Estate Museum.
Artist, designer, graduate of Vera Mukhina Higher School of Art and Design in Leningrad (now The Saint Petersburg State Art and Industry Academy), founder of the “Svoya Shkola” (Own School) design studio. Involved in the museum design projects since 1996. Carried out more than 50 museum projects, including permanent exhibits – the entrance area of the Gatchina Palace (2012), Mikhail Anikushin’s Memorial Studio Museum (2011), Permanent exhibit at the Trubetskoy Bastion of the Peter and Paul Fortress in St. Petersburg (2009), Alexander Blok Memorial Apartment Museum (2008); temporary exhibitions “John Cage. Silent Presence” at the State Museum of the History of St. Petersburg (2012) , “More than Sport!” at State Museum of the Political History of Russia (2014) and others.
